Jean Pascal Survives Scare To Win by Split Decision
December 28, 2019: Atlanta, Georgia, USA
WBA Light Heavyweight champion Jean Pascal, scored a 12-round split decision win at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. In round four A right hand by Pascal had Badou
Jack on wobbly legs. A follow-up right floored Jack with roughly 10 seconds to go in the round. Both boxers had their say in a spirited round six. Pascal continued to find
success with wide right hands, while Jack looked to work the body. In the last round Jack fought to close the show in the final round. A right hand had Pascal dazed, with Jack
landing several more as an accumulation of punches ultimately sent Pascal reeling through the ropes. He beat the count and quickly recovered, though Jack went right back on the
attack. It turned out to be too little, too late in the eyes of two of the judges. Judges scorcards: 114-112, 114-112 for Pascal. 112-114 for Jack.
