Roman Gonzalez dominates Julio Cesar Martinez in unanimous decision win

WBC flyweight champion Julio Cesar Martinez went up one weightclass to face boxing legend Roman Gonzalez. This fight took place at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego with
the WBC "Diamond" belt at stake. Gonzalez dominated the fight and won by a clear cut points decision. All the judges scored the fight for Gonzalez 118-110, 117-11 and 116-112.
Martinez still remains with his WBC Flyweight title.


Julio Cesar Martinez vs McWilliams Arroyo ends in no contest

After a two round war the fight ended up in a no contest. Martinez and Arroyo both went down in round one. In the second round Martinez scored another knockdown. Arroyo
had blood streaming down his face from two cuts over his right eye. The referee said it was from an accidental headbutt. At the start of the third round Arroyo claimed he could
not see and the fight was stopped.
