Former Super Welterweight champion Erislandy Lara moved up in weight to defeat Thomas LaManna for the vacant WBA "Regular" middleweight championship. At the Dignity
Health Sports Park in Carson, California Lara manage to knock-out LaManna cold. The fight ended at 1:20 of the very first round. One straight left hand on the chin did the job.
