Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez retained his undisputed super middleweight championship by defeating John Ryder. After 12 rounds all judges had Canelo winning by a wide
unanimous decision in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Canelo Alvarez beats Gennady Golovkin again; Wins trilogy

Boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez outclassed a slow and tentative Gennady Golovkin to retain his WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO titles. Canelo was the more active fighter.
Although Golovkin came back strong in the last rounds of the fight, it was not enough for the vicory. Jugdes scorecards; 116-112 and twice 115-113.
