Miguel Berchelt beats Eleazar Valenzuela in six rounds

WBC junior lightweight champion Miguel Berchelt kept busy by fighting in a Non-Title fight. The fight took place at the TV Azteca Studios in Mexico City. Opponent Eleazar
Valenzuela was no match for the champion. Berchelt steadily wore down Valenzuela and the sixth round the fight was stopped by the referee. Valenzuela could no longer
withstand Berchelt's onslaught. officially the fight is ruled an NO CONTEST as the event was not sanctioned by Mexico City Boxing Commission.

The 27-year-old Berchelt, from Merida, Mexico was making the sixth defense of his WBC world title. Berchelt battered and broke Jason Sosa down, dropping him twice before
the fight was stopped in round four. With the victory, Berchelt improves to 37-1 with 33 knockouts.
